Cameron Carico +10 Foundation board members presented a check for $11,000 to the UnityPoint Health - Des Moines Student Assistance Program.  The money was proceeds raised from the Cameron Carico Memorial Golf Classic at Bright Grandview Golf Course in September.  Cameron was a special young man who touched everyone with his infectious smile and caring personality. Cameron took his own life in January of 2012.  The Cameron Carico +10 Foundation was created by Cameron's cousins in his memory. The mission of the foundation is to support healthy and happy families in central Iowa through suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
