UnityPoint Health - Des Moines -Des Moines' certificate radiography program has been by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). JRCERT gave UnityPoint Health - Des Moines full accreditation for eight years.

"UnityPoint Health - Des Moines is committed to its educational programs in radiologic technology," said Eric Lothe, UnityPoint Health - Des Moines administrator. "The School of Radiologic Technology contributes to our primary goal of providing the best possible healthcare to patients."

The school of radiologic technology offers programs in Radiologic Technology (RT) Certificate, Online Computed Tomography (CT) and Limited Radiologic Technology (LRT). Students learn to use state-of-the art equipment and ionizing radiation to produce diagnostic images in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease. Through an articulation agreement with DMACC, students have the option of pursuing an Associate in General Studies degree.
