UnityPoint Health - Des Moines -  Des Moines has provided members of the Iowa Air National Guard with additional medical training for several years.  The 132d Medical Group commander, Colonel James Bartlett, presented a recognition plaque to the Emergency Department at Iowa Methodist Medical Center on July 10 for their continuing support and training. 

 "The staff is always very welcoming and the additional trauma experience gained has been proven to be impeccable with the 98 percent survival rates in the combat zones," said Colonel James Bartlett.
