By demonstrating compliance with DNV's national standards for healthcare quality and safety, Iowa Lutheran has earned the DNV's certification. DNV is the first and only Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) approved accreditation service that surveys annually and integrates ISO 9001 quality improvement methods with Medicare Conditions of Participation. Iowa Lutheran will have two years to be come IS 9001 compliant and will have the option to be certified at that point.
