Congratulations to Marlene Turner, Supply Chain Analyst, for receiving an UnityPoint Health - Des Moines ACE Award. The ACE (Always Committed to Excellence) Awards recognize the outstanding achievements of UnityPoint Health - Des Moines employees. Below is the nomination letter written for Marlene and an example of the great work she does for UnityPoint Health - Des Moines.
With the Epic/OPTIME project, there is one special person who has been a key force in making this new process successful for Surgery, CSP, IT, Procurement and Finance.
Marlene Turner has spent the majority of her work days, nights and weekends during the last few months on Epic/OPTIME. She has gladly re-engineered her workflow to always be available to the work groups' needs, including assisting CSP on inventory location efficiency recommendations and the cross-walk of patient charge codes for Finance and Surgery.
Not only has Marlene been a key force in this project, but her consistent attitude about sharing her expertise and assisting anywhere she can has been what Tonya and Laurie have seen since joining IHDM. Marlene is a "go-to" and "can-do" person who is truly appreciated!
Marlene was nominated by Tonya Terrell of Methodist West Hospital OR, and Sue Draper, Supply Chain Specialist.
