Scott Fleagle, ATC, LAT | Urbandale High School
I am an athletic trainer with UnityPoint Health - Des Moines - Des Moines at Urbandale High School. My specialty is sports medicine, and I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. I have been a certified athletic trainer since 2010.
Caleb Freeze, ATC, LAT | Valley High School - West Des Moines
I am an athletic trainer with UnityPoint Health - Des Moines at Valley High School. I have worked for IH-DM since 2005. My specialty is sports medicine, and I graduated from Iowa State University in 2002. I have been a certified athletic trainer since 2002.
Melanie Mason, MS, ATC, LAT, CSCS | Johnston High School
I am a Certified Athletic Trainer at Johnston High School. I have been an athletic trainer with UnityPoint Health - Des Moines - Des Moines, at Johnston high school since 2008. My specialty is sports medicine. I also enjoy educating the public on health and well-being. I graduated from Northwestern College in 1997 and earned my master's degree from Kansas State University in 1998. I have been a certified athletic trainer since 1997, and a certified strength and conditioning specialist since 2009.

My specialty is sports medicine and I graduated from Coe College. I have been a certified athletic trainer since 1998 and a licensed athletic trainer since 1999. I am the Iowa Athletic Trainers Society (IATS) Secondary School Committee Chair. I was the recipient of the IATS Volunteer of the Year in 2011.
