UnityPoint Health - Des Moines
It's Christmas in July! Well, okay, June. But regardless of the month, it's the perfect time to celebrate Blank Children's Hospital!
Join us at our UnityPoint Health tent located at 3rd & Court for a Saturday of creative FUN. Volunteers will be inviting children to make farmers' market-themed ornaments to be hung on the Blank Christmas tree, displayed later this year at the 2013 Festival of Trees and Lights! In addition, experts from Child Life, the Regional Protection Center and Advocacy and Outreach will be on-hand sharing valuable safety tips and information for your kids.
Since 1984, The Festival of Trees and Lights has become a family tradition here in Iowa, and one with 3 great causes:
The Child Life and Advocacy & Outreach programs at Blank Children's Hospital are provided to everyone at little-to-no cost, and no one is ever turned away for any reason. For this reason, community support of Festival is so important. Over the past 29 years, the Festival of Trees and Lights has provided more than $6.5 million in financial aid for Child Life, outreach programs and projects, and has provided important diagnostic tools especially designed for children and their families.
So come out and show your support of Blank Children's Hospital and the Downtown Des Moines Farmers' Market this weekend. There's nothing better than healthy, family-friendly fun with a great cause!
- To develop support and community appreciation for Blank Children's Hospital

We'll see you at The Market!
