Sleepy Hollow H20 Run
Summer comes with road races galore, and each race has its own personality. From the funky, wild Color Run, to Iowa's Distance Classic, Dam-to-Dam, there is a local road race for every runner.
Not Your Ordinary Race
This year, Sleepy Hollow Sports Park decided to create its own multiple-race series, offering Des Moines runners one-of-a-kind race experiences. The Sno Run and Mud Run have already taken place, but the next race in the series screams summer fun!
The Sleepy Hollow H20 Run at 10 a.m. on June 22 is an interactive 5K race for the whole family, pairing people's love of running with people's love of water. Lots of water. Get ready to cross a pond, take a trip through a "car wash," sprint through a creek and finish with, quite possibly, the largest slip-n-slide you've ever seen. And, what makes this even better is the Run benefits the American Heart Association.

Mark Your Calendars
The fourth and final race in Sleepy Hollow's race series is the Beer Run, September 28, 2013, benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training. Register early because this race will fill up fast, as it will offer plenty of "liquid courage" along the course.
