Student Assistance Program
Student Assistance Program (SAP) benefits the student, family, teachers and administration involved with problems in the school environment. The SAP provides free, confidential and short-term counseling to students or family members as part of their district benefits. The SAP can also provide training and education for students or teachers and administration within contracted districts.
Workplace and school performance is impacted by many problems people face in their personal lives: divorce, physical illness, grief, stress, substance abuse problems, to name a few. Employers or teachers have a special vantage point to identify persons with such problems. Training, awareness and intervention to solve problems ensures that a return to health and high performance is more likely to occur.
