Fast, quality health care is closer than you imagine! Iowa Health Express Care is fast and convenient walk-in healthcare when you need it, where you need it.

Conveniently located right beside the Hy-Vee pharmacy in Ankeny and West Des Moines, Express Care is staffed by an advanced registered nurse practitioner. ARNPs are registered nurses with advanced education and training who prescribe medications and provide high-quality family medical care.

Our nurse practitioners see patients 18 months or older. They perform physical assessments and examinations, order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnose and treat common illnesses and minor injuries and make referrals to specialists where appropriate. They also teach health and nutrition information, manage medications and provide timely follow-up care.

Payment may be made by cash, check or credit card at the time service is provided. We accept many local insurance providers, including Medicare, Wellmark, Coventry, Principal, United Healthcare and others.
