David M. Hall, DO, FACOI., FACC has joined Iowa Health - Des Moines Cardiology. Dr. Hall was in private cardiology practice in Des Moines with Heavy Medicine, Inc. and was former Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at Des Moines General Hospital.
He received his medical training at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He interned with Flint Osteopathic Hospital, Flint, Michigan and completed his residency with Kirksville Osteopathic Hospital, Kirksville, Missouri and his fellowship with the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Hall is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and he is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists and the American College of Cardiology. He was honored as Physician of the Year by Des Moines General Hospital and the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association and is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association and the Polk County Osteopathic Medical Association.
Dr. Hall held a number of academic faculty positions, published extensively in medical journals and completed many notable clinical investigations.
Dr. Hall will begin seeing patients at Iowa Health - Des Moines Cardiology, 1301 Penn Avenue, Suite 100 beginning on June 14, 2011.
