We have recently completed a new surgery center for Iowa Methodist - a surgery and cardiovascular Center of Excellence that touches the lives of more than 20,000 Iowa families a year. This ongoing $19 million project was a substantial reinvestment in our downtown campus and a vital step to meet the future health needs of our community.
The new Iowa Methodist surgery center features:

Separation of adult and pediatric patients, acute and non-acute patients

Improved efficiency of operations and patient flow

Improved patient and family amenities, adult and pediatric

Enhanced patient confidentiality and privacy

Additional operating room capacity, including provision for additional minimally-invasive surgery technology
