Charles "Chuck" Dunlop, MSW, MHA, LISW, is a Senior Therapist and has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Drake University, and an MSW in family systems and MHA in health care administration from the University of Iowa. He is certified with the National Board of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists. Chuck has taught behavioral health courses to students at Des Moines University and clinical courses at the University of Iowa.

Ulrike (Uly) B. Gift, RN received her nursing education in Heilbronn, Germany. She moved to the United States in 1985 and is registered through the Iowa Board of Nursing. Ms. Gift works with our therapists and supports the ARNP's to promote a multi-disciplinary treatment approach for our patients. Ms. Gift has worked as a Registered Nurse for over 24 years and has been working for the UnityPoint Health - Des Moines since 1992. Behavioral Health and Mental Health are her passion and she has specialized in these areas in her last 17 years of employment.

Denise Hagerla, LISW, received her bachelor's degree in visual communication at Loyola University Chicago and her master's degree in clinical social work from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration. She has worked as a clinical social worker in both inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings as well as in community mental health services, residential services, and private practice. Randy Henderson received his bachelor's degree in social sciences and religion from Dana College; master's degree in counseling/psychology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He has more than twenty years experience as a Social Worker with the Department of Human Services as a caseworker, child abuse investigator, regional foster care and adoption specialist and in the administration. Randy has taught secondary education, adult education and at William Penn University. He also teaches Children in the Middle class.

Todd D. Jenkins, LMFT, LMHC obtained an undergraduate degree in psychology from University of Iowa and a Master's Degree in Psychology from University of Missouri-Kansas City. He then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Counseling and Human Development from Radford University in Virginia. Jenkins relocated to Iowa and obtained licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Mental Health Counselor. Along with being a Senior Level Mental Health Therapist, he is also on the professional staff of the Des Moines Bariatric Center as a mental health consultant.

Jeffrey S. Kerber, Ph.D. LMFT is currently the Clinical Manager of the UnityPoint Health - Des Moines Counseling Centers and also manages the UnityPoint Health - Des Moines Employee Assistance Program. Prior to clinical management, Dr. Kerber was a full-time practicing clinician for 15 years. Dr. Kerber served as the first Executive Director and legislative lobbyist for the Iowa Association for Marriage and Family Therapy for 10 years. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree with double majors in psychology and religion from St. Olaf College, followed by a Master of Science degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of Wisconsin - Stout and a Doctorate in Human Development and Family Studies with a clinical specialization in marriage and family therapy from Iowa State University.

Donna Richard-Langer, MSW, LISW, ACSW came to UnityPoint Health - Des Moines in 2010 after nine years at Visiting Nurse Services and 11 years at Lutheran Social Service in Des Moines. Managing Outpatient Counseling Services and providing direct service to clients for the past 30 years has enabled Donna to have a vast array of experiences with a diverse population. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
Donna Richard-Langer has received additional training and experience in postpartum depression providing individual and group work. She has attended the Marce Conference in the UK, engaging in converstions with experts around the world on treating postpartum depression.

Maria S. Ogden, Ph.D. Psychologist has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, and a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Binghamton University. She completed two postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Rochester School Of Medicine, focused on Interdisciplinary Leadership in Adolescent Health. During this time she worked with children with a variety of medical illnesses within specialty medical settings. Dr. Ogden has been with UnityPoint Health - Des Moines for 10 years.
Dr. Ogden accepts clients for psychotherapy and psychological testing. Some areas of clinical emphasis include education and treatment for children and adolescents with anxiety and depression, whether these are primary areas of difficulty or as a secondary effect of a medical condition. She is available to work with parents on strategies to make parenting efforts more effective. In addition, as a psychologist, she is able to assess cognitive functioning and can assist in the identification of learning disorders.
