Our Orthopaedic Centers

Our Orthopaedic Centers at Iowa Methodist, Iowa Lutheran and Methodist West are designed as a healing environment to meet the specific needs of our orthopaedic patients. This includes a physical therapy area, stairs and other design elements to enable our healthcare providers to communicate more efficiently and care for you better.  

Each patient room provides a comfortable atmosphere for our patients and families. There is family space and accommodations for a loved one to stay overnight. Our newly designed private patient rooms include a patient lounge chair specifically designed for us to accommodate patients' bending restrictions following hip surgery.

Blue Distinction Centers for Total Joint Replacement and Spine Surgery®

Blue Distinction Centers® offer the medical consumer the very best practices and standards of care in several important medical areas.

Designation as Blue Distinction Centers® means these facilities' overall experience and aggregate data met objective criteria established in collaboration with expert clinicians' and leading professional organizations' recommendations.
