Post-Graduate Year-1 (PGY-1) Pharmacy Practice Residency

The Department of Pharmacy, UnityPoint Health - Des Moines and the College of Pharmacy, Drake University are recruiting candidates for two (2) Post-Graduate Year-1 (PGY-1) pharmacy practice residency positions available in July 2013. This residency is a 12-month program that will provide a unique opportunity for highly motivated individuals to receive advanced training in acute and ambulatory patient care (with a focus in Internal Medicine), professional communications, pharmacy management, and academic teaching. The program has been accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and will be conducted at the highest standards for clinical pharmacy practice. A competitive stipend and health insurance will be offered. Other benefits include paid time off.
